Xilinx announced the launch of automobile-grade Zynq UltraScale+ - MPSoC series

     Xilinx Corporation, a global leader in AllProgrammable technology and devices, announced the launch of the automotion-grade Zynq UItraScale+TMMPSoC family of devices that support the development of safety-critical ADAS and autonomous driving systems. The Xilinx Automotive Class XAZynqUItraScale+MPSoC series has not only passed the AECQ100 test specification, but also fully complies with ISO26262ASIL-C certification.

     The family integrates the feature-rich 64-bit quad-core Arm@CortexM.A53, dual-core ArmCortex-R5 processing system (PS) and Xilinx Programmable Logic (PL)UItraScale architecture in a single device. This scalable solution not only provides the right performance-to-power ratio, but also provides critical functional safety and confidentiality, making it ideal for a variety of automotive customer platforms.

     The XAZynq UItraScale+MPSoC series is Exida certified to ISO 26262 ASIL-Class C safety specifications. Exida is one of the world's leading professional certification companies for the security and confidentiality of automation and automotive systems. The product family includes "safetyisland" designed for real-time processing functional safety applications, certified to ISO26262ASIL-C level. In addition to safety islands, programmable logic can be used to tailor additional safety circuits for specific applications, such as monitors, watchdog, or functional redundancy, effectively enabling ASIL decomposition and fault-tolerant architecture design within a single integrated circuit.
