Triplett's PS305 provides the most commonly needed 30 V/5 A DC output voltage and current for most applications

Triplett's PS305 30 V/5 A DC power supply is a compact multipurpose power supply that weighs 8.8 lb (4 kg) and measures 4" x 6" x 8" (105 mm x 155 mm x 210 mm) (width x height x depth). It won't be bulky on the workbench or take up too much workbench space. It is portable and can be easily transported between test stations.

For most applications, the PS305 provides the most commonly used 30 V/5 ADC output voltage and current (power output = 160 W), providing constant voltage and constant current output. These high quality outputs have stability and accuracy without drift. Instantaneous response time of PS305 < 100 µS (50% load variation, minimum load 0.5 A). It provides fine and coarse tuning in constant voltage and current operations. The readings are displayed on twin 4-digit bright LED displays.

The PS305 has various forms of protection, such as backconnection protection, short circuit protection and overload protection. This allows the user to avoid damaging any important items such as PCBS and prototypes. The transformer is designed with a temperature recovery fuse. When the internal temperature of the transformer exceeds +130°F, the temperature recovery fuse will automatically disconnect and the transformer will lose power. When the temperature drops below +130°F, the temperature recovery fuse is automatically switched on and the transformer begins to supply power.
