Ti's LM76002 and LM76003 are 3.5V to 60 V, 2.5A / 3.5A synchronous step-down regulators

Texas Instruments' LM76002 and LM76003 regulators are easy to use synchronous step-down DC-DC converters capable of driving up to 2.5 A (LM76002) or 3.5 A (LM76003) load current from inputs up to 60 V. The LM76002 and LM76003 provide superior efficiency and output accuracy at very small solution sizes.

Adopt peak current mode control. Other features such as adjustable switching frequency, synchronization, FPWM options, power good mark, precision enable, adjustable soft Start, and tracking provide a flexible and easy-to-use solution for a wide range of applications. Automatic frequency folding increases efficiency under light load and optional external bias.

These devices require few external components, have a pin designed for simple PCB layouts, and have best-in-class electromagnetic interference (CISPR22) and thermal performance. Protection features include hot shutdown, input undervoltage locking, cycle current limiting and short circuit protection. The LM76002 and LM76003 devices are available in WQFN 30 pin lead-free package wettable flanks.
