Texas Instruments high voltage analog multiplexer
The Texas Instruments TMUX8108/TMUX8109 multiplexer is a modern high voltage analog multiplexer in 8:1(single ended) and 4:1(differential) configurations. The device works well with dual, single or asymmetric power supplies, and the maximum supply voltage is up to 100V. The TMUX810x device provides consistent analog parametric performance across the entire power supply voltage range. The TMUX8108 and TMUX8109 support bidirectional analog and digital signals on the source (Sx) and drain (Dx) pins.
All logic inputs support logic levels of 1.8V, 3.3V, and 5V, and can be connected up to 48V, allowing the system flexibility on the control signal voltage. Fail-safe logic circuits allow the voltage on the logic pins to be applied before powering the pins, protecting the device from potential damage.
Texas Instruments TMUX8108/TMUX8109 provides latching immunity to prevent undesirable high current events between parasitic structures within the device. The latched state usually lasts until the power rail is turned off and can cause equipment failure. Latched immunity allows this series of multiplexers to be used in harsh environments.
