     Melexis has announced its unique temperature sensor chip MLX90632 for the Samsung Galaxy Watch5 and Galaxy Watch5 Pro. The product provides a non-contact temperature measurement with greater accuracy and can track the menstrual cycle. Reliable continuous temperature monitoring performance opens up a wide range of new applications in sports, health monitoring equipment and other fields.

     Samsung has included a contactless temperature sensor chip MLX90632 in the latest Galaxy Watch5 series. Compared with the current contact sensor solution used by many manufacturers, the watch needs to be in close contact with the skin in order to accurately collect data, which is not only difficult to achieve in practical application, but also leads to inaccurate data. Melexis' contactless temperature sensor, integrated with Samsung's Galaxy Watch5 and Galaxy Watch5 Pro, solves this problem.
