TT Electronics flyback transformers are optimized for industrial applications
TT Electronics, a global supplier of engineering electronics for performance-critical applications, announced the launch of the HM210-05K060LFTR flyback transformer, designed to be shared with Avago's ACPL-32JT/302J IGBT chipset. With a high level of isolation, this transformer is optimized for demanding industrial motor control and inverter applications.
The HM210-05K060LFTR flyback transformer has a high saturation current capacity and low leakage inductive energy, making it suitable for efficient DC-DC applications where size is important and ensuring the level of performance and reliability required for industrial applications.
TT Electronics designed the transformer carefully, taking into account a number of factors to create a product that is well suited to the Avago ACPL-302J. The ACPL-302J is a 2.5A gate driven optocoupler with an integrated flyback controller for isolated DC-DC converter applications.
This transformer has a wide operating temperature range from -40 to +155 °C; The high temperature resistance of +155 °C gives it excellent voltage isolation of 5 kV between the primary and secondary winding. The TT Electronics flyback transformer is small in size at 19.5 x 14.5 x 16.5mm (HxWxD) and is designed for PCB mounting with a primary resistance of 305 milliohm.
TT Electronics' HM210-05K060LFTR is used with Avago's chipsets for a wide range of industrial applications, including inverters, UPS and switching power supplies, automation systems, DC/DC converters, renewable energy inverters, and AC and brushless DC motor drives.
