TE Connectivity's (TE) AMPSEAL 16 connector delivers analog signal and digital data transmission up to 6 GHz with MATE-AX coaxial terminals to reliably connect antennas, cameras, sensors and displays in heavy-duty commercial and industrial vehicles.
Its easy-to-use, flexible design utilizes widely used automotive standard coaxial cable and supports a wide range of communication protocols, including APIX 2/3, FPD Link III, GMSL 2/3, GNSS, GPS, 4G, and LTE. Integrating home seals into the shell design not only simplifies assembly, but also reduces manufacturing and service costs by eliminating expensive heat-shrinkable tubes and time-consuming applications.
The product family meets all vibration, mechanical shock and temperature requirements of a rugged vehicle through the use of the proven AMPSEAL 16 housing design and the superior signal performance of MATE-AX miniature coaxial terminals.
