TDK MEMS scanning mirror is adopted by TriLite Global Minimal Projection Display

     TriLite recently announced TDK as the latest addition to its growing manufacturing partner ecosystem. TDK, a global leader in smart society electronics solutions, will supply TriLite's Laser Beam Scanning (LBS) technology based Trixel 3 ultra-compact display, the world's smallest projected display, with miniature MEMS scanning mirrors. With its compact, lightweight and bright and accurate revolutionary display technology, the award-winning Trixel 3 ultra-compact display provides augmented reality (AR) solutions for a wide range of consumer electronics applications and makes smart glasses more accessible to a broad mass market.

     The Trixel 3 ultra-compact display sets a new standard in the industry by combining an optical engine, 2D MEMS scanning mirrors, and all other optical components in a module that weighs less than 1.5 grams and is less than 1 cubic centimeter in volume. And system integration is easy through the TriLite Calibration Module (TCM). In addition to being ultra-compact and lightweight and easy to use, the Trixel 3 is designed for mass production. It provides a bright display that is easy to read in direct sunlight, and its optimized optical path does not require relay optics, further saving space and weight.
