     STMicroelectronics introduces the TSZ182 precision dual operational amplifier with very low input offset voltage and extremely high temperature drift stability, as well as 3MHz gain bandwidth, rail-to-rail input/output, 2mm x 2mm DFN8 or Mini-SO8 miniature package. The TSZ182 chopper stabilized opamp complements ST's traditional line of popular opamps with extremely high measurement accuracy for body signal monitors, glucose meters, industrial sensors, factory automation and low side current measurement.

     The offset voltage of 25µV at 25°C enables high measurement resolution and accuracy without the use of external trims, saving board space and on-line adjustments. In addition, the input offset temperature drift is kept within 100nV/°C over a wide temperature range, eliminating the need for periodic automatic calibration, thus simplifying product design and providing greater convenience for end users.

     Rail-to-rail input/output makes the new product more competitive than other brands of precision opamps, and the operating power supply voltage is 2.2V-5.5V, both of which allow the TSZ182 to take full advantage of the existing dynamic range. The 3MHz gain bandwidth ensures a stable frequency response over a wide range. A maximum operating current of only 1mA at 5V helps to maximize the life of battery-powered devices.

     The wide operating temperature range of -40°C to 125°C makes the TSZ182 suitable for harsh outdoor or industrial working environments. The upcoming automotive grade product (TSZ1821IYST) is suitable for precision conditioning of sensor signals from simple wiper modules or climate control to more complex autonomous driving systems.
