New high precision, low power consumption of remote digital temperature sensor
Novosense has launched a new high precision, low power remote digital temperature sensor NST141x series, which includes two product models, NST1412 and NST1413, suitable for laptop, server and other applications such as board temperature measurement. Meet all kinds of communication, calculation and instrumentation of multi-point, high performance temperature monitoring requirements.
The internal space of laptops is small, such as the central processing unit CPU, graphics card, hard disk as an important source of heat, once these hardware beyond the normal temperature range, usually lead to laptop performance degradation, and even graphics card components burned, hard disk data loss and other risks. Therefore, it is necessary to monitor the temperature of the core components of the laptop.
The server runs in a large amount of data exchange, long standby time in the working environment, stored in the various user data and management software need a safe and stable environment, which puts forward higher requirements on the hardware, stability and reliability is particularly important. Therefore, as an essential component of disks on enterprise-level servers, the temperature sensor monitors the disk temperature in real time and actively controls the disk read/write speed to ensure data security.
How to realize temperature sensor protection in laptop and server. Remote temperature measurement usually adopts low cost vertical diode or audion to achieve multipoint temperature measurement with high cost performance. The NST141x series uses a single chip to solve the problem of multi-point temperature measurement, and realizes the temperature measurement at the board level through high reliability CMOS chip technology. The temperature measurement range can reach -40℃~125℃, ±1℃ in the range of -10℃~105℃, and ±1.5℃ in the range of -40℃~125℃. The 11Bit resolution is 0.125℃.
Novosense's NST141x series temperature sensors integrate series resistance cancellation, programmable non-ideal factors (η factors), programmable digital channel filters, offset correction and other advanced features to provide a reliable and stable temperature monitoring solution with higher accuracy and immunity for notebook and server board temperature applications.
