New E1. S solid state drive extractor

     Southco, a leading global provider of engineering hardware solutions, has added a new line of E1.S solid-state drive (SSD) boosters to its push/pull unit portfolio. The new Sosko P7 extractor is designed to assist the insertion and removal of the E1.S hard disk, which is more suitable for the shape of the E1.S hard disk.

     Southco's new E1.S hard disk dedicated P7 booster comes in three sizes for 9.5, 15 and 25mm wide drives. The P7 extractor uses a die-cast zinc lever and is held in place by nylon buttons. Buttons are available in three standard colors and can be color-matched according to the customer's design standards. The new extractor has been rigorously tested through Intel's Donahue Pass testing platform. In addition to other relevant criteria, the test platform evaluated the performance of the product in terms of EMI/ESD, thermal and LED.

The components produced by us meet 100% of the Storage Network Industry Association (SNIA) E1.S hardware shape standards."
