     SLN-VIZN3D-IOT Face recognition development kit from NXP Semiconductors. With SLN-VIZNAS-IOT, developers are able to quickly and easily add facial recognition and 3D live detection capabilities to their products, particularly suited to the smart home and security sectors.

     The NXP SLN-VIZN3D-IOT development suite combines a high-performance 3D structured optical module (SLM) camera with an i.MX RT117F cross processor to enable 3D live detection and face recognition at the local edge, improving performance and security. This Edge-Ready solution reduces consumer privacy concerns while eliminating latency issues associated with cloud-based solutions.

     SLN-VIZN3D-IOT provides reliable 3D face recognition in indoor and outdoor applications, suitable for a variety of lighting conditions, including bright sunlight, dim night light, and other extremely poor lighting conditions that challenge traditional face recognition systems. The 3D SLM camera enables advanced live detection, helping to distinguish real people from spoofing techniques such as photos, realistic masks or 3D models, preventing unauthorized access.

     The SLN-VIZN3D-IOT development suite features fully integrated, all-inclusive software that works out of the box to minimize time to market, reduce risk, and reduce development effort.
