Littelfuse offers a single fuse solution for applications requiring high current ratings and compact construction

     Littelfuse introduces its UL-certified line of high-current surface mount fuses. Designed for applications requiring compact construction and strong current protection, the Nano2881 series of high-current SMD fuses offers a single fuse solution with voltages up to 75VDC and current ratings ranging from 60A to 100A. Due to the high current rating of the solution, circuit designers faced with applications requiring high current rating fuses no longer have to parallel multiple low current rating fuses and use large, high specification industrial fuses. This range includes the first 100A SMD fuse on the market.

     With minimal voltage drop and low temperature rise, the 881 series improves power efficiency by optimizing thermal performance and minimizing power losses. The 881 Series fuses operate in a temperature range of -55°C to 100°C and are suitable for existing operating environments. Its robust design increases reliability and reduces the effects of temperature cycling and vibration.

     Typical applications of the 881 series in the data center market include blade servers, server chassis, baseboards, and line cards. Other applications in the power systems market include uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), base station power supplies, high-power battery systems, and power factor correction (PFC) for high-power power supplies.
