Lattice introduces a new low power MachXO3 control PLD device

     Lattice Semiconductor, a leading provider of customized intelligent interconnect solutions to the market, announced the addition of its popular MachXO3TM family of control PLDS to meet the changing design needs of the communications and industrial markets. The new MachXO3-9400 device offers a low power 1.2V core package option for thermal demanding environments, more FPGA logic resources for motor control and board management functions, and more I/O for server and storage applications. To help customers design and develop with MachXO3 devices, Lattice also offers a powerful and flexible evaluation board that supports a wide range of system architectures, including board management, embedded microcontroller /O expansion and video protocol bridging capabilities.

     The MachXO3-9400 evaluation board uses the MachXO3-9400 control PLD and Lattice Hardware Management Expander L-ASC10. The evaluation board also includes connectors for RaspberryPi3, ArduinoZero, and other expansion boards. It is ideal for design engineers to quickly and well build I/O extensions, co-processing, motor control, and video bridging capabilities for the latest computing and industrial applications.
