Intelligent high side switcher to ensure vehicle system reliability

     The Diodes announced the launch of the DIODES ZXMS81045SPQ, the first self-protective, automotive, high-side IntelliFET™ product packaged in a compact, protective and diagnostic device suitable for driving 12V vehicle loads, and the Diodes ZXMS81045SPQ. Such as leds, light bulbs, actuators and motors in automotive body control and lighting systems.

     ZXMS81045SPQ provides an efficient, reliable, small size alternative to relays, fuses and discrete circuits. If the customer needs to improve the product supply, the product can also compare to the existing power switcher devices in terms of shape, applicability and functionality, using SO-8EP packaging. A dedicated electrical fluometer (IS) pin accurately monitors analog current output and provides fault indications for battery short-circuit, ground short-circuit, and open load detection.

     The ZXMS81045SPQ has an N-type field-effect transistor (FET) rated at 41V, whose onboard circuit provides short-circuit protection, handles inrush current and prevents overvoltage such as sudden load drop. The ZXMS81045SPQ also features overheating protection with automatic restart and electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection. In addition, some external components can provide ground failure and reverse polarity protection.
