Infineon's high-precision 3D magnetic sensors help reduce power consumption in consumer and industrial applications

     Infineon Technologies AG introduces its 3D magnetic sensor TLV493D-A1B6, which uses a compact 6-pin TSOP package to achieve highly accurate 3D sensing with very low power consumption. By detecting magnetic fields in the x, y, and z directions, the sensor reliably senses three-dimensional, linear, and rotational motion. The digital I²C interface can realize fast bidirectional communication between sensor and MCU.

     The TLV493D-A1B6 is suitable for consumer and industrial applications where accurate 3D or Angle measurements are required, or where low power consumption is required, such as joysticks; Control elements for white goods and multi-function knobs; Ideal for meter applications tamper-proof with 3D magnetic sensor. With non-contact position sensing and high temperature stability of magnetic thresholds, the TLV493D-A1B6 makes these systems smaller, more accurate and more stable.
