High precision amplification and sensor-specific correction
The RAA2S4252B is a member of the Renesas CMOS integrated circuit family for high-precision amplification and sensor-specific correction of differential bridge sensor signals. The RAA2S4252B features 900 maximum analog preamplification and analog Sensor offset correction (XSOC), which can be adjusted for almost all resistance Bridges.
Conditioning calculations are performed with a 16-bit RISC microcontroller. The calibration coefficients and configuration data are stored in non-volatile memory (NVM) and are reliable in automotive applications. The measured value is provided by the ratio analog output signal. Tail-of-the-line (EOL) calibration is also supported through this output pin via a single-wire interface (OWI). Digital calibration helps reduce assembly costs because no external equipment or laser is needed for trimming.
The RAA2S4252B is optimized for harsh automotive environments with overvoltage and reverse polarity protection circuits, excellent electromagnetic compatibility, and multiple diagnostic features.
