Diodes introduces a new compact low power configurable multi-function gate to diversify the logic product line

     Diodes Incorporated introduces four multifunction gates that can be configured with custom logic to replace multiple devices with a single component. The new products add functionality to the company's existing 74AUP1G logic device family and provide space and weight savings for space-constrained applications, including wearable fitness devices, smartphones and other portable consumer electronics.

     74AUP1G57, 74AUP1G58, 74AUP1G97 and 74AUP1G98 offer multiple base gate arrangements with three inputs and one output. Enables users to configure the logic functions required for AND, OR, or, or, or, or, NOR, or, XOR, XNOR, and MUX. Each device is available in four package options, ranging in size from SOT26, SOT363, DFN1410 to the smallest DFN1010 package with a footprint of only 1.0mm x 1.0mm x 0.39mm. These package options can meet the various requirements of designers for terminal systems.

     These multifunction gate devices are also equipped with the low-voltage, low-power energy efficiency of the Advanced Ultra-Low Power (AUP) logic family. Battery life is critical because of the high power consumption of next-generation consumer electronics, and the 74AUP1Gxx device not only uses less than 0.9µA of supply current and provides low static power consumption at up to +85°C, but also operates at low voltages down to 0.8V VCC, further saving power. The product's features, power, size and performance benefits also benefit consumer applications such as tablets, e-books, MP3 players, handheld game consoles and GPS devices.
