Cirrus Logic, the world's leading manufacturer of high-precision analog and digital signal processing components, has introduced its flagship ultra-low power intelligent audio codec CS47L90, a major breakthrough in single-chip audio playback and sound processing capabilities for mobile applications. The audio technology of the Cirrus Logic CS47L90 product provides mobile device manufacturers with innovative sound capabilities, enabling consumers to enjoy the Hi-Fi listening experience on their mobile devices.

The CS47L90 SmartHIFI™ audio playback features deliver superior listening experience to users, with on-demand voice activation, noise reduction, active noise cancellation, echo cancellation and speaker protection enhancing the voice control system of mobile devices to provide consumers with superior noise-free audio experience. Cirrus Logic's Smart HIFI optimizes mobile audio playback by combining a powerful DSP processing system with high-performance analog circuits to create an audio experience unique to a typical high-end audio device. Whether in standby or operating mode, the CS47L90's ultra-low power consumption features reduce battery power consumption and extend battery life.

The device also supports popular voice activation engines, including Google Buzz word activation and true hands-free feeling. In addition, the CS47L90 provides development tools for consumers and third party IP vendors to program the Cirrus Logic DSP core program, allowing customized solutions to be developed to meet user needs.
