Analog front-end interface integrated circuit with differential output

The LX34070 inductive position sensor is an analog front-end interface integrated circuit used to control an external LC oscillator. Here, the inductance (L) of the external slot circuit is the main coil of the inductance sensor formed by the trace on the printed circuit board (PCB). The signal generated by the two magnetically coupled secondary coils is the analog position input signal of the LX34070 device. The received signal, which varies with the position of the metal target, is processed by the LX34070 sensor, which extracts the amplitude from the high-frequency carrier.

The LX34070 Sensor ic comes in a 14-pin TSSOP package with AEC-Q100 certification and is extensible to operating temperature ranges from -40°C to 160°C. This makes the LX34070 inductive position sensor suitable for a wide range of commercial, industrial, medical, automotive sensors, as well as high-speed and noise immunity applications.
