ABLIC S-82x battery protection monitoring circuit

ABLIC S-82x Battery Protection Monitoring circuit is a protection ic for lithium ion and lithium polymer rechargeable batteries, including high precision voltage detection circuit and delay circuit. The S-82x ic is designed for 2-serial battery packs to prevent overcharge, overdischarge, and overcurrent. These components provide high precision overcurrent protection and are less affected by temperature changes.

The S-82A2A/C series has input pins (CTL pins) for charge and discharge control signals, allowing the use of external signals for charge and discharge control. S-82A2B and S-82B2B have an input pin (PS pin) for saving electrical signals. The PS pin reduces current consumption by activating the power saving function using an external signal.
