Wired connection products for harsh environments
L-com, owned by Infinite Electronics, adds a variety of Bulgin wired connections for harsh environments. These include power input modules, circular power connectors, circular data connectors, push button switches, battery holders and fuse holders.Most of the company's new Bulgin products are built to withstand harsh environments, with protection grades such as IP69K, IP68 and IP66. This makes them ideal for applications such as industrial, commercial, Marine/wastewater, transportation, medical, agriculture, and food processing.
The flange-mounted PEMs are C14 AC sockets with a choice of 6.3mm quick connection or 2.8mm welded terminal connection. Bulgin round power connectors are available in matching plug and socket pairs with a choice of 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 9, 12 or 25 contact configurations. They have IP68 or food processing grade IP69K ratings, waterproof wiring and can handle voltages up to 12A and 277V.Circular data connectors are inline or chassis mounted and are available in Ethernet or USB versions. They are IP68 or IP69K rated and waterproof wiring. Other benefits include damage-resistant alignment and anti-interference EMI protection.
Panel mounting Button switch panel seals IP66 or IP68 specifications. They are single-contact push designs, have integrated power resistance and TVS protection, and are resistant to damage. Their bright daylight leds are available in several color options and LED ring lighting.
Removable/latched drawer battery holders include AA, C, D, or 9 volt (PP3) battery options, which can be connected in series or in pairs. Installation options cover PCB, panel or base. There are multiple versions that hold multiple batteries at a time.
Snap-mount fuse holders handle fuses with dimensions 5mm x 20mm and protect them with panel seals IP68 or IP66 grades. They provide a captive drawer, overall protection against electric shock, and bayonet screwdriver release."With this broad new offering, you get the best of both worlds," said Dan Rebeck, a product line manager.
