The latest generation debugger that expands the product range
TASKING offers hardware debuggers iC7pro and iC7max. This product, along with the company's recently launched iC7mini, makes up the latest generation of proven BlueBox debuggers. They provide faster response times and enhanced performance for software development, and enable a smoother GUI and API experience.
The company's compiler toolchains - SmartCode for Infineon's TriCore AURIX TC4x family and VX-Toolset for Arm v7.0 for NXP Semiconductor S32Z and S32E real-time processors, among others - allow connectivity to hardware targets via a hardware debugger. SmartCode and Arm's VX-Toolset now include an Eclipse plug-in that provides powerful and versatile access to the winIDEA IDE. A compiler toolchain for RISC-V will be released soon, allowing connections to hardware targets via a new debugger.
As with the iC7mini, the new debugger's new and improved ECU interface ensures that signal integrity is maintained even in the most challenging environments. Further improvements have doubled the speed of continuous integration testing. The ability to work in a global development environment with remote debugging farms has also been significantly improved. These three debuggers support all microcontrollers and SOCs commonly used in safety-critical automotive applications.
In addition to the capabilities of the iC7mini, the iC7pro and iC7max also add real-time tracking capabilities. iC7max can also be used to synchronously debug and track multiple SOCs and monitor the network between them.
