The first commercial ai servo system is released

     Panasonic Industries' new compact MINAS A7 servo drive family, now available in Europe, is the industry's first commercially available AI-equipped servo system. The equipment adopts precision tuning independently developed by Panasonic Industries, making full use of artificial intelligence technology, and can achieve high-precision automatic tuning without expert engineers. This also reduces setup time by up to 90%.

     The MINAS A7 motor and drive improve equipment performance while simplifying installation and operation. Thanks to the integrated AI, the servo system can even automate tasks in areas that require experts to manually tune machines due to the unsatisfactory performance of traditional auto-tuning functions. The product also achieves the highest level of motion performance in the industry with 27-bit and 134,217,728 pulse/time servomotor encoder resolution. Indicates that the speed response frequency of the servo amplifier control performance reaches an industry record of 4kHz or higher.

     In addition, the servo motor reaches a maximum speed of, 7150r /min, helping to reduce cycle time. The MINAS A7 is impressive for its compact design, space-saving and cost-effectiveness. Last but not least, the MINAS A7 servo drive is backward compatible with MINAS A6 devices. Due to the same interface and flange size, they are 1:1 replaceable.
