STMicroelectronics and Blues Wireless partner to accelerate the adoption of embedded cellular technology
STMicroelectronics, a global semiconductor leader serving multiple electronic applications, and Blues Wireless, a telecommunications equipment provider dedicated to enabling people and businesses to monitor their physical assets in real time by tapping into the vast potential of the cellular Internet of Things, announced the results of their collaboration. Five stmicroelectronics products are used in Blues Wireless 'Notecard System Level Module (SOM) solution. Notecard can accelerate the development of cellular iot solutions for connecting assets at very low development costs.
Blues Wireless Notecard is based on high-performance, ultra-low power STM32L4R5 microcontroller (MCU), advanced key management and device security chip STSAFE-A, And LIS2DTW12 module integrating temperature sensor, motion sensor and power optimized position sensing sensor. Built around stmicroelectronics products, Notecard integrates prepaid embedded cellular data services, secure communication capabilities, and an innovative development model that significantly reduces the time from concept to deployment for a variety of cloud-connected iot applications.
