A new electric meter with a built-in data recorder

     The device is an in-line device placed between an electrical outlet and an electrical appliance. The data is recorded in CSV format and can be easily transferred to any personal computer for analysis and visualization in charts, etc. If the user provides the supplier's energy price, the device also displays the actual cost in the currency of choice.

     The device not only records power consumption, but also helps show whether the device is in good working order. It features a high-contrast EBTN display that increases readability in low-light conditions.
